HOW DOES IT WORK?

The working principle of the MV metal cell is briefly;
- The power from the medium voltage distribution network enters the metal cell through the incoming supply cable.
- Power is typically fed to a circuit breaker or a load separator in the cell, which protects against overloads and failures.The circuit breaker or load separator can be operated manually or remotely via a control panel.
- Once the incoming power is conserved, it can be distributed to different loads using busbars and other distribution equipment inside the metal cell. the busbar power is distributed into different feeders and branches, which can be turned on and off as needed to control the power flow.
- The metal compartment also contains control and monitoring equipment such as relays, meters and communication devices. These devices help to monitor the power flow and provide information about the status of the cell and the power distribution system.
